Went for lunch with a friend, seemed busy but they found us a table which was opposite the bar and a busy walkway for the staff. Had to ask for drinks, menus and to order food, none of the staff offered any. Ordered peppercorn chicken and my friend ordered the cajun chicken - her chicken was dry, the rest of the plate looked ok - fries, salad, coleslaw. My chicken was cooked well but lacked any seasoning, the peppercorn sauce lacked and flavour unless you chewed the whole peppercorns, it came with 4 small barely roasted potatoes and some very al dente brocolli. Not worth £16 for the quality or quantity in my opinion. Nice enough place, staff were busy but didnt seem attentive.
Really loved our stay at the Crossroads Inn, warm welcoming and lovely food I am a Coeliac and the food was exceptional, great Gluten Free Fish and Chips and the breakfast was substantial and delicious its the second time we have stayed here and my daughter and I can't fault it, and would definitely stay again.
I can't rate the rooms as we stayed in our campervan. But if the rest of the pub is anything to go by I'm sure they'll be fab. Free to campervans, you just have to have a meal/drinks in the pub. Can't speak highly enough about the Crossroads Inn. Staff helpful, polite and chatty. Food excellent. We were there early in the evening and there was already a good atmosphere. We will be back.
Jayne,Scott & Arthur were just lovely and the food was delightful. We stayed overnight in our motor home and would highly recommend stopping here. They really do go the extra mile to look after you. Thanks to you all. John & Suzie Grantham Solihull
We had dinner here but did not stay. The service was very friendly and the food was well priced. We went on a Thursday where you can get the grill deal. The steak was really tasty, a little bit over my preferred medium rare however, not too much that it was worth sending back for. Would eat here again 😊
