Was passing through and went in for a drink and something to eat good little cosy pub friendly staff and atmosphere. My pizza was good and didn't take long to arrive after ordering. I would definitely recommend coming back 👍
Went for a few drinks then decided to have some food, wife had a steak and asked for it to be well done, steak arrived and it was raw in the middle took it back, another steak arrived exactly the same, walked out in disgust, bar staff we dealt with were brilliant, this is the 1st time we've had to complain about anything in spoons and we've visited a few.
A great experience. Both reasonably priced food and drink. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Hats off to weatherspoons for creating a great eating and drinking establishment in a historic building.
A very nice JD Wetherspoon in Peebles. A decent-sized building with plenty of seating, both inside and out. The food was fine and consistent like all Wetherspoon pubs and would certainly visit again. This was also my first ever Haggis Pizza experience and it was a positive one and would recommend it.
Popped in for a drink with my husband. The pub was lovely and warm, which was great as it was freezing and wet outside, and the price for drinks is brilliant value for money. The building itself really needs a good clean! When waiting for the server to pour our drinks, both my husband and I commented on how dirty the bar was. The tables/seats were no better.
