Staff are nice, foods extremely basic. Good place for drinking, but I wouldn't recommend the food.
Better on a weekday; we last visited on a Saturday, when it was a lot busier and some food choices had run out. But the food was tasty and well presented and good value for money on the whole. During the week there are some interesting offers on food and drinks that make it cheaper.
Food is quite good, prices very enjoyable. Two people ate a full English breakfast, coffee and one alcoholic cocktail and paid £13. One huge minus is the place is quite dirty. Otherwise, I would advise for cheap and good enough food.
As you can see in the photo attached, on Friday nights, it's any double mixer for £3.95. My friend and I went in based on this offer and I ordered a double Captain Morgan Apple and lemonade, they tried to charge me about £7 for it after pouring it, so I mentioned the promotion, the staff then said it's on "normal" mixers (what???) So I showed them this picture on the board outside the establishment and they said "it's an old sign you'll have to take it up with management". Absolutely not. Don't hang it if you won't honour it! The staff are fine, they switched it to a drink on the promotion and proceeded to pour the original drink down the sink after I offered to pay the correct £3.95 for it! When I have eaten here, it's fine for the price
Only 3 stars because the only thing right with my order was the Gammon. I asked for pineapple and got egg that needed changing and I ordered fries but got chips. The pineapple was fried and the tomato raw. Wrong way round. And I don't like peas. Update. The chips were nice and crisp, the Gammon wasn't too salty and the staff were nice. Next time I visit I'll try something different and hopefully you'll score 5 stars.
