The Cottars Bar is a friendly community pub offering delicious home cooked food served daily.
We have a wide range of drinks available to quench your thirst and provide exciting entertainment most weekends. We also have a lovely outside heated area and an attractive beer garden with outside seating. We also support local darts, pool and quiz teams.
To the barmaid in the grey jumper tonight, your customer service and attitude is probably the worst I have ever come across. After deciding to spend a night at our local for a so called charity night, it was ruined by her disgusting manner. After spending over 100 pounds at the bar we left early due to her We were hoping to enjoy karaoke and donate to charity but she put us off. After years of coming into cottars for lunch and drinks we can safely say we wont be back. If this is due to the new owners. Bring back the old ones is all I can say.
Use to love the food here I went with my sister recently went to order 2 steak pies was told abruptly No I had to ask why was there's none then he said only got half macaroni left and no potatoes either. Ok so we ordered a 2 jumbo sausage and chips the chip were skinny chips with skins on they were horrible more skin than potato so won't b back it's a shame as it use to b really good
Food was ok, would have been better served on a hot plate. Service was good, although not impressed by chap behind the bar, constantly running his hand through his hair while pouring drinks ..not very hygienic
Absolutely shocking I wouldn't go there the food is absolutely garbage steak pie was cold potatoes too hasn't been the 1st time too won't be back and I suggest everyone avoid this place the chef that was there before cooked good food. Whoever is cooking now please stop
The most friendliest place I have visited on a night away. They did make me feel uncomfortable yet made me feel like I've been living here my whole life. Definitely recommend this place. I will be visiting again when I am next up 👌.
