Saturday, late morning. Just popped in for a coffee. Was welcomed by a bustling warm atmosphere. Loads of people having breakfasts and drinks. The food coming out of the kitchen looked and smelt amazing. Wish I could’ve had a sit down and a cooked brekky as well. Maybe next time. Super friendly staff member served me behind the bar. Wait for coffee was minimal. And coffee was lovely. What a gem of a place. No wonder it is popular on a weekend morning.
Como does not want your business. We were keen to take an international party to the Como Lounge in Witney. We tried 6 times to organise a meal for 40 people in mid February. Each time we were told that the Como Lounge was very interested, but the manager never met us nor called us. We went in twice to meet the manager and was promised she would see us, on the second occasion she left the restaurant whilst we waited to see her. We spoke to the area manager, who promised that the manager would call us after the service....no call We've organised the meal for somewhere !!!
Post Christmas gathering with a large group of friends. We prebooked the table and due to the large number were asked to provide food choices. This I felt wasn't an issue and only fair given the size of our party. From entering to leaving, the staff were very polite and helpful throughout. Providing colouring for the children and checking in making sure everyone had arrived before serving our food. Due to being in a large group we ordered our drinks separately via the QR code on the table, which worked better for us and did not hinder our experience. Nearly forgot the food! ordered the lounge breakfast which I enjoyed. Others had chosen the pancakes, lounge eggs, and the veggie breakfast. Which were all enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely experience!
The food was nice and I recommend the pink lemonade. The lighting isn’t the best inside so it felt like a pub. Prefer the other ‘lounge’ cafes that I have been to.
Coming to Como has been a delightful experience. The meal was sublime, The staff were delightful, and the weather was to die for very much like the atmosphere you get at this restaurant. It is certainly worthy of the 5 star rating!!!
