Craft beer brewed on-site, delicious Neapolitan pizzas and one of the best views of Edinburgh Castle from our Rooftop Terrace. Cold Town House is where it’s happening. Join us in one of our fantastic areas – The Brewhouse, The Pizza & Prosecco Floor or The Rooftop Terrace – for scran, beer, cocktails and really anything that takes your fancy.

You can’t have a floor called the Brewhouse and not serve up some of the freshest drinks this side of the Grassmarket. And trust us – it doesn’t get much fresher than brewing our own beer on site in our Microbrewery. Enjoy Cold Town Beer, a pint born and brewed in Edinburgh, and even treat yourself to one of our new showstopper Cold Town Beer towers filled with up to 6 pints to share a cold one with your pals.

And when it comes to cocktails we’ve got you covered. Our team are no strangers to shaking up a storm across the bar. Whether it’s a classic cocktail you know and love or a brand new Cold Town exclusive, you’ll find the perfect concoction to wash it all down with.

Originally tried the beer and then saw they had a pub in Edinburgh, we’ve been several times for food, most recently we got a gift voucher for Christmas and as always the food did not disappoint. Two of us shared the buffalo loaded fries, morningside (margarita pizza) and halloumi fries. The halloumi fries were some of the best I’ve ever had! The pizza is Neapolitan style and is exceptional! We went for food on Friday evening so the pub was busy; we did have a group stand near our table which was somewhat off putting. They do have multiple floors but it seemed everyone was in the ground level. Would recommend for food but possibly avoid Friday / Saturday nights. Overall pleasant and will go back.

What a perfect place for dinner and drinks. The rooftop terrace has a great vibe. We sat in, a what seemed to be converted tuktuk, that was a first! The drinks were magical, food tasted delicious and our server was delightful. They even fixed our hogwarts ties, in preparation of our next stop, a dark lord resurrection escape room. The Cold Town House is a definite MUST GO when you're visiting Edinburgh.

First time we’ve visited Cold Town House and I can’t wait to visit Edinburgh again as this place will be number one pub to visit when we next arrive! Beautiful pub inside and out, lovely atmosphere, setting and great staff. The choice of ales was excellent, we will stay for much longer next time but were on a tight schedule. Thanks

Wow, this place is as spectacular inside as it looks outside! 🤩 My husband and I had a meal here on the last day of our Edinburgh trip and it was the perfect way to end it on a lovely note. The place looks beautiful, smells great (yes, you read that right) and the rooftop terrace has a wonderful vibe and a beautiful view of the castle. I had the vegetarian burger and my husband got the steak, and we both really enjoyed our meal. An awesome spot!🥰

Had some great food here on the rooftop terrace. The haggis pizza was delicious and the buffalo wings too. Didn’t have high hopes for the food but my expectations were surpassed. The view of the castle is great too. Would highly recommend
