Always a friendly place to go. We did not eat here, so can't comment on that. But in the summer the little garden is so lovely and has views of Romsey Abbey.
Lovely pub in an old building full of charm. We only had drinks but stayed here a while, lovely views onto the square. Nice young staff. Quaint attractive toilet with bricks and beams! Will come back!
History…. The decor in this place is awesome. True to everything about the place. Gray place to drink beer. Try the local stuff. When the weather is good , sit in the back and enjoy being outside in the garden.
Relatively new place as a pub, this former Chemist shop and bus waiting room is enjoying a new lease of life. Nice selection of beers, friendly staff and a good place to watch the world go by!
A new micro is always good, staff are attentive and definitely Covid aware, very proactive at cleaning after each party has left. However beer range is limited and fairly uninspired compared to other micro pubs.
