Good sized function room, perfect for family parties
A great community centre space. Just had a works Xmas party. All the amenities needed. A year later and the Christmas lights and fireworks were really great.
I booked this venue for my son's christening, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We had access to three spacious rooms, with the bar area being a particular highlight. What made it even better was that the price included the use of a bouncy castle, which was a huge hit with all the kids. Additionally, the venue is conveniently located next to a field and park, providing extra entertainment options. The kitchen area was impressively spacious, featuring a massive fridge that came in handy for our event. We opted for a buffet, and Coffee Cup arranged it for us beautifully. In the third room, tables were thoughtfully laid out, making it easy to set up our buffet. Parking was ample and stress-free, which was a relief. I highly recommend this place for any event – it truly made our son's christening memorable and hassle-free.
Kids park is great grandson loved it. It's got things for most ages. It has plenty of bench and picnic tables. Was kept well on our visit
Excellent pub with recently upgraded San Miguel beer pump (Dyson Hot/Cold AirBlade 2017 model). Great banter from “locals” with wide array of advice for all new patrons, ranging from how to reheat pizza in a microwave through to applying sun cream accurately on a tram. Tuesday night pub quiz is a sell out so get there early unless you want to upset a local by sitting in their seat. Wonderful buffet before results are read out. £1 entry fee is inflation defying. Once a month disco* is held on a Friday for those that haven’t been able to leave the village (no passport) and/or ever be in a room with a women that’s not their mother. * disco is held in the “other room”.
