Really tasty food and quick service. Staff were really friendly.
We called for Sunday lunch on the off chance. They were very obliging. Staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. Fresh, beautifully cooked and very tasty. The best Sunday lunch and dessert I can remember having. Will definitely go again.
Food was nice, but nothing special. I had a ‘kids’ portion Sunday roast as I wanted a light bite after dropping in mid cycle ride. Limited menu on a Sunday. None of the Staff were friendly, which immediately made us feel like we weren’t welcome. Staff need to be trained properly on the importance of good customer service! Been wanting to come here for a while, but won’t be rushing back.
I’m getting used to dining here. Food is superb. Portions seem to have shrunk a little on last visit but still delicious. Highly recommended
Nice Sunday lunch on the way back from Wales. Called in mid afternoon, it was quite busy but the staff found us some seats. We had a look at the size of other tables plates and made our mind up to just go for the roast. This was a wise decision as the portion sizes are good. There is plenty of meat and a large Yorkshire pudding in each dish. I had beef and found that to be very nice, my wife had turkey, which she also said was nice. The roast potatoes are OK, but I prefer mine to be cooked more on the outside. These were a little pale. And the veg is served in a separate bowl, which is OK. The dish comes with the gravy already on, it's very nice and a good admit in the dish. Good place with a good vibe, I would be happy to call her again.
