Great hotel & pub, excellent & friendly service. Ideal location for train into Manchester or Liverpool. Very reasonable price for accommodation 5*
Kids loved it top atmosphere to watch football good pint of beer and free parking at the back.
Brilliant place to stay near to train station and town centre a lot money been spent fabulous place to stay fantastic breakfast
Ratings for hotel stay only. Room is dirty, hairs found on and in bedding, window frame is dirty and mouldy, bathroom has been cleaned but still has dirt in the corners. TV remote control is caked in old dirt. I was told as I walked in, don’t judge a book by its cover. That is because from the outside it looks like a ropey old boozer in an industrial area. When you walk inside the pub looks like it has had a recent renovation. The rooms have had some decoration in the past couple of years but the devil is in the details and they clearly only consider a light dusting to be a sufficient room clean. If I could have I would have gone and stayed somewhere else. I have given 3 stars for location as it is very close for the centre of town and opposite the train station.
Nice place but nobody in there on a Saturday night literally just the bar staff or would have stayed longer . But been on other nights and it's been rammed.
