We finally re-opened our doors again on Monday 12th April 2021 but unfortunately not without a few changes. We have worked very hard to keep the traditional pub atmosphere while adhering to the many requirments outlined by our Government to keep our staff & customers safe.
We have now opened up our front family garden.
We encourage contactless payments however we will still accept good old fashioned cash.
We ask that upon entering the pub please continue to use the hand sanitiser that we have provided. We have NHS posters for you to scan the QR code (via NHS Test & Trace App).
Our new opeing times are Tuesday-Thursday 5pm-10pm, Friday & Saturday 12-11pm & Sunday 12-7pm
Food is available on a Wednesday's (Pizza from The Woodfired Pizza Shack), Thursday's (Steak Night served 5-8pm) Friday's & Saturday's (Cherry Tree Menu served 12-8pm) & Sunday's (Traditional Sunday Roast served 12-3.30pm).
Now that restrictions have been relaxed we are no longer taking reservations unless you wish to dine in one of our dining rooms, you are more than welcome to make your dining reservation via email, message through Instagram or Facebook or by telephone (during our opening hours).
We understand that it will not be quite the same for a while, but we hope that you enjoy your time & that you feel comfortable & safe.

The Cherry Tree is a beautiful & traditional village pub. Not many of those left these days. Since the 1700's it has welcomed regulars from Market Harborough and surrounding villages and we'd love to extend that welcome to you.
We have several connecting rooms surrounding the bar, one of our rooms has a TV (showing BT Sport) & we have two quaint a dining rooms.
We will ensure you're made to feel right at home with a friendly smile. We offer great cask ales, with a range of regular beers and guest ales including an impressive choice of lagers, wines and spirits, good food prepared from fresh locally sourced ingredients and a Specials Board created with passion and integrity.
We also boast two well manicured gardens, one with patio and children's play area. The other is located to the rear of the pub, this is an adult beer garden, for those who may want a quieter drink. Well behaved dogs are very welcome in either of the gardens.

Beautiful pub, with a lovely friendly atmosphere. The food tastes amazing, especially the Sunday lunch and everything is great value for money. With an adult and childrens garden you get the best of both worlds. Can't recommend this place enough!

Great pub, 2 large beer gardens inner at the front door children with a fence around. Good choice of asked, largest and Guinness. Star were really friendly and there was a great buzz to the place even though it was only Thursday. With a visit for sure
I was situated in the childrens play area. Okay lovely weather with many children, this I don't mind but several adults smoking in front of the children wasn't very healthy. You could smell the aroma at least 20 metres away. It took me and other patrons 20-25 mins to be served. A bigger pub needed.
First time in on Saturday night as just moved to the area. What a brilliant atmosphere. So good to see the place busy and vibrant. Staff pleasant and friendly. This is definitely going to be our new local. It's like the award winning Coach and Horses in Wellingborough ( but without Andy Norman! 😂).
