Came across this establishment by chance and were hungry so we stopped by. Lots of parking and the niew in itself was amazing! Our waitress was very friendly and polite stopping for conversation between meals. The owner, who cooks the food and makes the cakes on offer, was also very welcoming and friendly...also helps it's dog friendly so we got a fuss or two. Will be returning in the future!
My girlfriend and I stopped in for lunch the other weekend when my mum was visiting - we all absolutely loved it! There’s a great atmosphere / decor inside that makes you feel at home, the food is superb, and you can take your dogs - what more could you ask for 🙂 I’ll definitely be stopping in again, and I would recommend anyone to do the same.
We had a wonderful time at the Charlton Cat. A wonderful atmosphere and spotlessly clean. Friendly staff and delicious toffee apple cake, gluten free lemon cake and fabulous bacon butty!! Can't wait to come again!!
I've seen a lot of chat about the Charlton Cat on line and the food always looked delicious so I decided to take a trip there on Saturday, taking my parents as well as the following day was their wedding anniversary. What we found was a cosy, clean well presented cafe with great views and tasty food. We all opted for the Charlton breakfast which when it came out looked delicious and certainly proved to be with local Lowerfield Farm sausage, bacon, mushrooms tomato and a thick piece of Eggy Bread. Absolute heaven and reasonably priced too. We will definitely be visiting again
I can't remember when I had a full English as good as this (apart from my own of course :-) ) Quality ingredients, perfectly cooked. Lovely waitress, lovely owner, lovely views too. Definitely one I'll be visiting again
