The Chalkhill Blue (6.25) (like a harvester) Andover. Attentive service 10 out 10, gluten free and meat only (18oz steak scored 7) options offered. Quick drink order taken and delivered. Quick food delivery, Trio of meats ok although the tough beef let it down. Veg was a bit bland, peas hard, cauliflower cheese hard, pigs in blankets nice, gravy pretty good. Giant Yorkshire not nice. Presentation was very good though. The sweet menu may have boosted the score but we didn’t try that.
A gorgeous meal with family. The roasts were incredible and so well cooked.
Return visit following previous review and was pleased this time round. The restaurant was busy when we arrived but this did not affect the speed of service. Very little wait time for food to arrive following order and was pleased with my meal. Good quality pub food would go back again
Really tasty food and great service, lovely pub and always enjoy visiting. 100% recommend the sausage and mash or the chicken and avocado salad. The burgers are great too!
Really enjoyed our meals. The waitress was brilliant, the food was fresh hot and served quickly. We didn't have to wait long it was really well run. The waitress had a great knowledge of the food and alcohol when asked. Cannot fault it. We will be back again it was such a great night. Booking online was really easy too. Thank you for such a nice evening there.
