I'd been helping a friend concrete a plinth, so was really ready for a drink. The castle delivered in spades. The beer was lovely and the people were friendly
Top pub, really great old fashioned atmosphere and great service and to top it off great Guinness at the best price in town👍🏼 Been here a few times now and shall be back very soon for sure. Cheers🍻

Had a one night stay here , the room was very clean , a king-size double bed , room 12 veiw out of window just about see the mountain & the Menai, & carpark , this place does not have a private carpark but can park your car close by in main carpark. The staff were friendly & helpful , breakfast was continental, no cooked breakfast was available...
A lovely place to stay and drink. It doesn't serve food but there are other places near by that do. The rooms are basic but lovely and clean. Only a continental breakfast is served so if you love your full English then this place is not for you. The pub area below serves decent beers at reasonable prices. You don't have to stay in the rooms to enjoy the beers and atmosphere of the public house area.
