We came to F&F last Saturday - it was lovely and warm, we were greeted on arrival and seated at our table by the friendly waitress. We had “the works” sharing platter along with some beef cigars. The beef cigars are something I’ve not seen before, they were melt-in-the-mouth delicious. The platter was a very generous portion of tender beef brisket, tasty belly pork & homemade links sausage which my husband thoroughly enjoyed! The pickled chargrilled padrón peppers were absolutely incredible, alongside homemade slaw & rich gooey beans - there’s something for everyone! Thank you for a wonderful comforting meal 😃

We were very lucky in managing to get a table, I rang at 6pm this evening and managed to get a table for 7:30pm! Food and service was spot on. Friendly staff and quick service. Lovely flavours of food, we had the brisket stack burger and loaded chips. The place was clean and tidy and modern. Would highly recommend and come back again

Four of us went here on a Sunday, my son made the booking but didn't realise that the only option was the Sunday menu, so he was a little disappointed as he was so looking forward to food choices on the main menu. On arrival it was quiet (1pm) but the place was fresh, spotless and well presented. A limited Sunday lunch menu with vegetarian option. We opted for the 2 course option at £25 ordered 2 slow smoked brisket and 2 smoked hog belly, and arrived promptly on aluminium trays for plates. Personally not a fan of the aluminium trays and using cutlery, would have preferred a plate. If I ordered a burger with chips and finger food they would have been great. Great friendly service throughout. The meat was excellently cooked, the veg for all of us was a little hard to our liking and heavily garnished. For pudding 3 of us went for the pecan pie and 1 of us went for ice cream, which were very nice. The toilets were spotless and you could see not long renovated. We look forward to returning to sample the main menu.

10/10 for our food last night! We went for ‘The Works’ for our mains and a mix of starters. Halloumi fries are the best! Service was fantastic. Waitresses made sure we had everything we needed from start to finish and Kliaste made sure we wasn’t short of drinks! Fire & Fork is definitely Abergavenny’s little gem.

Me and my wife had the pleasure of going to this restaurant last week and it did not dissapoint. The manager and waitresses were amazing friendly and very attentive. I must say the menu is spoilt for choice and so is the selection of beers and drinks. The food was something else and did not dissapoint. The pork burnt ends I could of eating all day, good quality cuts of pork with sticky sauce and the brisket is out of this world. My wife had the vegetarian options with the rost butternut squash main being the star show for her. The restaurant looks amazing in and out. We will be going back soon to try the Sunday lunch. Hats off the the chef and kitchen staff amazing job
