About us

Our hotel is accessible by car, train and bus with March train station just a 15 minute walk from the hotel. For guests that are driving to the hotel, parking is offered free of charge.

All 11 rooms come equipped with all the essential amenities including TV, hairdryer and shampoo. Ironing facilities are also available should you need them!

Free Wi-Fi is available for all our guests staying at the Ye Olde Griffin Hotel, also there are tea and coffee facilities available.

For your convenience, a 12pm check in and 11am check out time is offered which allows for a much earlier check in that most hotels. All bookings come with breakfast included. It’s always good to know you have a good breakfast to set you up for the rest of your day no matter what your plans are.

If you fancy a bite to eat we offer a large menu with burgers, pies, salads, fish and chips to name but a few from the menu. Our pub is amongst the best in the area with a wide range of affordable alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages that also include a large cocktail menu.

Great little pub, good bar staff attentive geezer on the floor(manager maybe?) Football played but have areas with out and have areas with screen on but no sound so proper variety! The food ispub grub but on a really good level. Just moved to the area and will be regulars

Just a one night stay at Ye Olde Griffin and everything went very well. Very friendly staff providing attentive and good service. Our room was a very good size and very clean. Overall excellent and very good V for M. Would certainly stay there again if in March.

A party of 32 of us thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Ye Olde Griffin last Saturday. The food was lovely and the service polite and efficient. Some of our party booked rooms overnight too. It is our 3rd year there and will return for sure. Many thanks.

Second time of staying at the Olde Griffin and it won’t be the last. A good traditional pub/hotel that caters for all ages. Our room was spotless every day, thanks to the hard working staff. All of the staff were cheerful and happy to help where needed. Food was of a high standard and reasonably priced. Thank you all for making our stay so enjoyable, we will be back.

This quaint little town centre pub is excellent the greeting was very nice when we asked if it was dog friendly. The food was great we had Cod chips and peas and the Cod platter , fish was massive and cooked superbly. Decaf Lattes very good all in all an very good place serving great food at a reasonable price. Definitely Dog friendly see the picture.
