Cracking little pub in the Centre of Hebden Bridge. Ale superb, staff out of this world (Leigh, you know who you are...) and while I was there, a group of street musicians started a jam session outside, were brilliant, and didn't even have a tip box out (until I asked them where to put a tip). You will see me again...
I bloody love this place. It is a great bar with a fab range of cask ales. We always have a great time whenever we go. Lots of banter. Fantastic place to sit outside in the Summer or inside during the Winter with a cracking pint. Very dog friendly. Would thoroughly recommend this fantastic little bar.
I do like real ale pubs mainly because of the atmosphere. My friends always have lots of beers to choose from which, they did on our visit here. Dog friendly bar too. Nice clean place with friendly helpful staff. They gave small samples of beers to try which made out choice easier.
Wonderful, tiny pub with lovely and helpful staff and a small, but great range of beers: 5 hand pulled ales and lots of bottled beers including a lager. Locals were also very friendly and happy to help us with recommendations for a restaurant for dinner. We took home a pork pie and a Stoodley Swirl - both of which were delicious when we ate them today so I'd recommend you eat one or both of those.
We love our weekly trek here on a Sunday. If you are lucky to find Stoodley Swirls or a pork pie available, try them. The ales are brilliant. Five hand pulled ales. Bottled ale, beer, wine available. Fantastic , cozy, indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly atmosphere and a credit to the owners Alan and Alyson who run a fantastic business.

The White Lion is a traditional coaching inn; with exposed timber and masonry, an abundance of comfortable corners to hide in, and always a warm and friendly atmosphere.
