We’re just a 4-minute drive from Attenborough train station. Head northwest on Attenborough Lane towards Bramble Close then turn right onto Bye Pass Road/A6005 and then left onto Attenborough Lane. Attenborough Lane then turns right and becomes High Road, where you’ll find us on the left.

Been here afew time's over the year's if for food or just afew drinks can't say anything bad about this place. The food is good for the price especially the breakfasts and they even open at 10am on Saturday's and Sunday's for breakfast. The place is more for the older generation and families which is nice. The staff are very polite and friendly can't fault this place one bit
I love this pub. Where my partner and me went on our first date. A very special place. Always a friendly welcome when you come into the pub. Does great food beers and wines in lovely surroundings. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Thank you.
Been a local for years. Was in the other day in the other day with a friend and his father. Was planning to spend most the afternoon there and eventually get some food. We sat down at a table around 2pm, then at 4:15pm a bar maid came over and put a notice on our table saying ‘this table is booked from 5pm’ so basically kicking us off our table in 45 mins, I was like excuse me we’ve been here for two hours and was planning on getting some food? Sent email complaining and I’ll copy and paste the passive-agressive, couldn’t care less response 😂 “Hello Tris, thanks for getting in touch. I am unsure what it is that you’re unhappy about? We like the majority of eateries allow bookings on all our tables, this is a company wide policy. Our team came over and explained the table was booked for the evening session in plenty of time, and as you say you could have moved to another table if you wished to. We don’t put reserved signs out for evening bookings at 2pm as this would also put people off using the tables, and garner criticism. From what you have described our team followed the booking policy and politely informed you of a reservation. I’m not sure what else we could have done. Kind Regards, The Cadland Team“
Eight of us came here for Sunday lunch, my initial thoughts on walking in was the place had quiet welcoming feel. I was then slightly disappointed when the table layout needed to be altered and the staff member requested we move them ourselves! The food isn’t the cheapest so I expected the meal to be tasty. Overhaul the food was ok although a little bland and the gravy had a consistency of tap water. Whilst there was a couple of issues on our first visit I would consider trying it again and altering my rating as the place is quite nice and the staff mainly pleasant.
An evening meal with the family. Fantastic place with great food and service. The pictures are the lasagne with a side of chips, and the dessert is the treacle sponge with custard. We ate from the set menu, so we had the two course choices. It's really well priced. I loved the fact that in parts of the pub, they had the open fires going. Friendly and helpful staff.
