Would give 0 stars if possible, do not try to stay here! I turned up and the place was deserted, I tried calling the number provided on the booking 5 times and no one answered. I wandered around the property for 40 minutes in the snow calling out and knocking on doors and no one was around. I had to book a different hotel after this as I would have been stranded. This place still charged me and refuses to give a refund, appalling way to run a business!
Stayed for just 2 nights, rooms clean and fully serviced as a Self Catering apartment. On main road which is not ideal but close to the place I was visiting. A short walk from shops and an ideal stopover. Pub was closed for my stay which was very disappointing as chose for the, country pub, feeling. I would confirm pub would e open before booking again
Lorna is such a nice, friendly and warm person she always makes you feel welcome and at home The pub is small and traditional. Most importantly as well as being olde worlde comfy the pints are delicious and just how they should be There are 6 apartments which are spacious, clean and very comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing stay in the area. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else and I visit the area weekly for work.
Absolutely fantastic little place to stay. Your own apartment which is clean, comfortable and cosy. Hosted by the owner Lorna who is so lovely and helpful. Perfect for visiting the area. Highly recommended it.
Lovely place to stay, would recommend to anyone. Very clean, everything there is needed. Very quiet. Lorna was very helpful and friendly. I had a wonderful night’s sleep, didn’t want to leave.
