The first pint served on the property was in 1827, although it only became The Firecrest pub in 1998. Originally known as The Half Way House, The Firecrest is situated in its own extensive gardens on the outskirts of Wendover, near Aylesbury.

Amazing food friendly staff brilliant atmosphere. Thank you all front and back of house. Had a great time celebrating 44 wedding anniversary today. Couldn't fault a thing. Will definitely be back soon
Fantastic birthday meal exceeded all expectations as had been here before quite a long time ago. GF food was specially prepared with clean cutlery and served by the manager. Portion sizes very generous. Would highly recommend. Excellent service from Amanda and Kellie.
Had the most wonderful meal here on Sunday. We were greeted at the door by a lovely lady and a warm cozy pub with a roaring fireplace. Staff were all very attentive and friendly (we had Emily serve us , mainly, she was lovely). Food was all delicious... the best roast beef dinner I've had in a pub in a long time. My mum and niece had turkey roast... also excellent. My sister had the Seabass which she said was delicious . All starters and desserts were good too. Service was quick ... no long delays even though they were very busy. We'll definitely return.
Celebrating a New Years Day Birthday, so we wanted to make it a special memory. The location is lovely, very welcoming, delicious food, excellent service.
Incredible experience! The staff were so kind and accommodating. The food was great - everyone (6 people) loved their meal(s). We had fantastic service from our server Amanda. She went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. Highly recommend. We will be back!
