Warm and welcoming. Great food and good value for money. Pleasant staff and nicely laid tables. Well organised and in great location.We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Me and my hubby will definitely return.
We were let down at the last minute by another pub. I phoned the broughton and they fut us in within the hour. They're was 10 of us in total. The meals were amazing the staff were all lovely. I would recommend this pub/restaurant. The children we had with us loved finding the elves dotted around the pub. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Spent a really nice couple of hours here on a busy Saturday. Really enjoyed the atmosphere, the Xmas decs and the cosy feel to the pub …definitely will be great to come back during the summer. Very friendly staff and super awesome to see a vegan menu - some great items on here and made me smile to see that you’ve got some. I was even happier to see that you have Guinness on tap :):):) I would add that for a pint of Guinness, it would do better if it was poured as recommended by Guinness - that is, poured to the top of the Harp, left to stand for a couple of minutes and then finished off…mine was poured all at once - still a great pint mind you! Can’t wait to come again and would highly recommend to anyone in the area - great job guys!
Lovely meals off of the lunch time menu. Smaller portion which suits my Mum and Dad, and ourselves for lunch. Warm welcome and great service from the staff. Hadn't been there for many years, and was pleasantly surprised. Inside the dining area was warm and comfortable. The place was reasonably busy. Will definitely revisit.
We enjoyed our visit. We (2 of us) arrived at 12:00 for lunch (on a Tuesday) and were glad to have reserved a table. The food was good (I had a rump steak which was very tasty, and super chips) and the staff lovely. It was very busy by the time we left, but we were not rushed in any way. We are definitely going to return. Dog-friendly.
