Went for a Sunday roast here and was just blown away by both the food and the service. The Mega roast was a great size, with 3 meats and all the trimmings and the cauliflower cheese was probably the best I've ever had. Our server Eleanor was super friendly and made sure we were happy for the whole of our time there. Cannot wait to return. 10/10
Lovely, warm, cozy hidden pub with great selection of beers & food. Popular with local families as well as students. You can even sneak in a boardgames should you wish.
Manager and all staff are great, service is always exceptional. However very disappointed on this visit - and I’m usually very satisfied. The chicken burger at £16 was once a delectable dish, to my surprise the burger tasted like it was made in a kebab shop. Bread was like cardboard and both the beef and chicken burger had an overwhelming taste of nothing. As something marketed as high end me and my partner were extremely disappointed - hope to try again once the chef is back to normal. Love the brook mill normally!
Went for the Sunday roast and had to say this is one of the best roasts in the area. Everything tasted fantastic with huge servings! Definitely recommend roast beef and leave room for sticky toffee pudding!
Just back from a 3 night stay. Fantastic rooms spotless with lots of great touches. The food in the restaurant perfect and lovely presentation. Came for the music night on Thursday fantastic will be back in the future. Thank you for a perfect stay.
