You cannot get a more welcoming, traditional pub than this one.
Great people great pub atmosphere
A very friendly welcoming, but being the only customer there wasn't much of an atmosphere. Lovely historic building and pub that needs supporting, otherwise it'll end up as housing.
Lovely little pub under new management great beer garden for the family, very friendly staff, good vibes, looks like it's gonna be a good pub to eat and drink with plenty going on in the future
Much better now there's a menu and a family atmosphere. The bar needs to be kept free of 'bar-flies', but it's an improvement on the wall off hi-vis jacketed backs it was festooned with on previous visits. I'm hopeful of a somewhat longer stay; not me, but the new owners! The staff are friendly and the food is right for the type of pub. Perfect if you don't want to cook and don't want to spend a fortune either.
