Always a warm welcome at ths little bar. Great for real ale enthusiasts, but also has a good range of continental beers and spirits. A super range of cigars and snuff if that's your thing too.

Great beer shop and bar, good variety in the menu for on and off sales. Outside seating just now , best to book to reserve seats, but has inside space once Covid rules change. Sit back enjoy a beer or two, watch the world go by, quite close to the road but still enjoyed the beer and friendly locals.
I dropped in on the off chance they might stock some bottled Imperial Stouts and I wasn't disappointed. Several in stock, including a couple of scarce ones but check prices as imports and limited brews can be expensive. The guy behind the bar was very knowledgeable and up for a bit of banter.
A fair selection of beers but nothing special for the type you of place this wants to be, so there's better places nearby. Small with no real seating to speak of. Slight health and safety issue when opening the cellar as it's in the middle of the floor - which already struggles for space. Barkeep was pleasant enough, but also made himself know as a bit of a snob in the craft world. Needs to chill that attitude out a bit.
