About us

The Bridge is a fantastic country pub located on the edge of the pretty village of Tibberton, our large beer garden backs onto the Worcester and Birmingham Canal, perfect for the summer days ahead. We have just undergone an extensive refurbishment and really pleased with how the pub looks, come and check it out! We are also dog and child friendly and serve food for lunch and dinner. Choose from pub favourites, sharing platters, stone baked pizzas, something from the grill and much more!.

Visited on 1 November with a friend. We received a lovely welcome with no hesitation to change our table so we could sit nearer to the fire. Had an amazing home made chicken pie and dessert from the specials board for very reasonable money. Will definitely be returning possibly to sample the team's new Sunday carvery offering. Highly recommended.

Stayed here on a stop over 23rd Sept. Came here on the strength of Jon-79 absolutely rubbish review! He couldn't of made it sound better for us. What a pack of lies!! The staff and locals were so friendly and nice. We felt so welcome. Also made our dogs very welcome too. Both the food and drinks were very reasonable priced and big portions of food. Nice canal side location and the weather helped them be busy but didn't affect our service! Would totally recommend this place and definitely ignore the rubbish reviews, absolutely tosh!

Ate on benches in the garden with passing narrow boats and swans to watch as we waited for our delicious food. Steak, done to perfection, tasty chicken pie, moist burgers- all served with chunky chips- yum. Dig biscuits available for our well behaved labrador. Would strongly recommend.

Usually love it here but unfortunately today they must have had an off day. Despite being the first ones of the day to order food, the starters took an hour to be served to ourselves. However were all home cooked and very tasteful, salad was a bit hard so left that. We ordered two Hawaiian pizzas and a steak with some alterations however they disregarded any alterations (no salad/mushrooms). Then served 2 pepperoni Chicago Town pizzas, 1 which had picked off pepperoni and made into a Hawaiian but forgot the mushrooms and 1 pepperoni as I guess they had ran out of frozen pineapple chunks. Unacceptable to charge £11.95 for a frozen Chicago town pizza. Based on this meal I wouldn’t recommend going as the service was so poor, ages to be served, 1 waitress working off her feet to serve the bar, take orders, wait tables and probably even cook! I think there were about 5 tables to serve and it seemed there were about 20 with the way it was ran. Completely understand they are busy and as the staff said many times ‘had a busy night the night before’ , but it’s a bank holiday weekend you have to expect a decent turn out for a Saturday lunch time. Completely unprepared, and not at all worth the money we paid.

The Bridge Inn in Tibberton is a gorgeous little country/canal-side pub that is warm, comfortable and relaxing. I heard it’s just had a makeover and been reopened by the new landlady Lynne who was so personable and accommodating during our lunch time there last week. They have a great range of local beers and the food was fresh, delicious and well priced. I wish them well in their new venture and look forward to visiting again especially in the summer as they have two great outdoor eating areas and the canal. Would love this to be my local, live in Gloucester but well worth the wee drive, as we will again Alex Archer & Nic Evans
