Booked christmas day lunch , staff were welcoming and friendly service was quick and efficient, food was tasty and well cooked from the spicy starter to the perfectly cooked chocolate foundant. Thank you for giving up your Christmas day ❤️
We had a Sunday roast here. I had chicken, and my partner had beef. We added the cheesy cauliflower (extra cost). My chicken was a tad dry. He loved the beef. The cheesy cauliflower was nasty. It was watery and tasteless. I do like how they pair a craft beer with your meals here. There is also a nice choice of beers. The service was great and it's right on the water so the atmosphere is good. Just need to work on that cheesy cauliflower! Especially if they're charging extra for it.
Eating out as a solo traveller can sometimes make you feel awkward, not so here. Very relaxed atmosphere, great service from Charlotte and the burger and fries were delicious. Served quickly and the Monday offer made my dinner a bargain. Plenty of choice on the beers, something for everyone. Highly recommend.
Staff made us feel extremely welcome the moment we arrived and ensured we were well looked after throughout the evening. We sampled three of the small plates as a starter to share between two and there was a lot of food. It was really good to be able to sample three different vegetarian options. The main courses were just as good, the Korean chicken burger was excellent. A really good selection of beers on tap and a nice location looking out to the Gloucester Quays. A must visit if you are ever in the area.
What a lovely friendly place. This is situated on Gloucester Quays overlooking the canal. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Outside can relax and watch the water. They have music inside and outside but chilled level. Inside is really lovely decorated one table has a fire in the middle. The staff friendly and welcoming.. This place brews own beer which there is a variety of different ones. There is a variety of different drinks.. We had the roast dinner yesterday 09/07/2023 and have to say personally best roast for me in Gloucester.. They do different things on nights so if need more information worth contacting them.. Reasonably priced and worth the money. Definitely going again and would recommend..
