About us

A beautiful cozy corner pub/restaurant hidden away behind Chiswick Park station. Originally built in 1885 and named the Railway Tavern for the workers constructing the railway lines nearby, it was renamed The Bollo House back in 2000, after the lane it is on and the underground river it conceals.

Having been recently refurbished we are back serving the local community the high quality food and drinks they deserve. Our seasonal and constantly changing menu is served daily and full table service means you can sit back and relax whilst we look after you as best we can. Our drinks range takes in a carefully selected and maintained cask range, a diverse and quirky draught selection and a full and well balanced wine menu, all expertly served in our bar area, restaurant, or sheltered and heated terrace for when the great British weather draws in.

Friendly staff and delicious food. The scotch egg and the fish and chips were just amazing! We will be back again for sure.

Came here for some food and drink with some friends this week as we’ve bought quite local, got a range of starters instead of mains! Venison fritters, pork belly bites and mushroom parfait just some of what didn’t disappoint. Staff were attentive which for me as a big plus! Will definitely be returning soon x

This was our first visit to Bollo House having driven past here a few times. The service was friendly and attentive. It wasn't too full when we arrived just past 1pm, but was busier by the time we left. We had two plates of roast beef. Sadly the roast beef on my plate was overcooked, very tough and difficult to eat, however I made the staff aware and without fuss they replaced it for me. The replacement roast beef was a lot better, although serving size perhaps a bit smaller than other places I've been to. The roast sides were good, the Yorkshire pudding was one of the best I've come across, not overcooked and great size just perfect. Would come back again.

Great place to go a let you're hair down. You couldn't ask for more friendly and welcoming staff, the chef is such a brilliant guy too. And you actually have some music to listen to which is rare these days.

A nice surprise in the midst of a nearly desert area. Delicious grilled sea bass and avocado toast with eggs. Fair prize, nice place outside also, and very kind people at service. Alessandra
