The Boathouse has had a complete redesign to create a comfortable and relaxed beach bar and an 85 seater restaurant as well as a small 1st floor bar, function room and roof terrace for 70-80 people.
As well as the usual selection of quality affordable ales and wines we will be offering a menu packed with freshly prepared dishes and daily fish specials..…..in fact fish is a big part of our offer and reflects our location perfectly.
We had a lovely family lunch at The Boathouse. All having the roasts which were delicious. Being able to take our dog in was one of the reasons for going there.
Recommend the seafood platter was amazing. Visited twice and both times staff have been attentive and the view is beautiful. Absolutely lovely dining experience. Dog friendly too!

Came here for our Anniversary Meal. The food was amazing. We sat out on the balcony overlooking the water. As the sun set, we enjoyed the beautiful meal. The air was warm, and the atmosphere was perfect. If you want a great place to enjoy the evening, this is your spot.
We had such a wonderful Saturday lunch here. The weather was looking like rain and we'd booked on the deck without cover. They were kind enough to book us a back up table indoors as well for that instance. Fortunately this wasn't needed in the end as the sun came out! Really top customer service from that perspective. The food was delicious. I ate crab thermidor, which was perfectly prepared and cooked. The view is tremendous, the food is fantastic and the staff are lovely, i couldn't recommend this highly enough. An FYI, you can still get a view of the estuary from downstairs inside.
