We were passing after a weekend away, and needed Sunday lunch, so dropped in without a booking. We couldn't have been made more welcome, a table in front of the fire, and two Sunday lunches appeared in no time at all. A full plate of really nice food, very tasty chicken, plus extra gravy. My wife had a pudding also. The pub was busy, but friendly, and the staff were on it everywhere! So many places now post-Covid don't have the service, but the Blue Bell do! And quite frankly, I don't know how they do quality food like this for the prices - it is amazing value for money. Highly recommended - make a special trip to try this place, you won't be disappointed. Thanks you so much for an amazing experience.
Lovely Sunday lunch, vegetables cooked perfectly. Nicely presented with extra gravy on the side. Desserts are yummy. Staff are friendly and attentive. Great price too!
What a gem! We had an absolutely delicious evening meal, first-rate home cooking using fresh ingredients, lovely welcoming staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Outstanding value too!
Visited for Sunday lunch with 9 of us friends. Staff were amazing services, excellent communication with us especially we all are Deaf. Sunday lunch - very good food. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
First visit, 6 people for Sunday Lunch. Service was first class, friendly and professional. All meals were delicious, all served together, all HOT with extra gravy and sauces followed by 6 different desserts also all delicious. A wonderful Sunday Lunch experience in a friendly pub and excellent value for money.
