A traditional family run pub.
What a delightful little pub! Staff were really accommodating to a last minute Sunday roast request and resident good boy, Boomer, was super friendly too! Attention to every small detail was so apparent here and the staff couldn't do enough for us! We will definitely be back as soon as we can. 😊 Thank you!
Father's Day Sunday lunch with a free pint. First time visit but will definitely be back as moving in locally.
Beautiful little pub, good sized outdoor area to enjoy a drink in the sun, lovely new owners as well, support small local businesses in this difficult time! Looking forward to my next visit on a lovely sunny day
Lovely warm, friendly atmosphere. 7 of us went Sunday lunchtime, for a family meal to celebrate my husband's birthday. We all ate different meals, everyone was happy with food and value for money. Loved the experience, we shall return quite soon!
As I am a coeliac(gluten free)to the uninitiated-it was excellent to find a menu so obliging to us dietary needs folk!! The portion was plentiful,tasty,and well presented. The pudding was to die for being gluten free I had not had sponge and custard for years as shop bought is like stodge in a bowl-this was light fluffy tasty and plenty of treacle in it-I live in Harrogate my brother lives in retford hence this visit which I am sure we will be doing again-Thanks to the staff for being kind and helpful too.
