We had lunch here last week. I know times are hard but we found the pub freezing in fact it was warmer outside a point another customer commented on as well. The food wasn't the best veg was ok but the fish was pretty awful. We won't be going there again. Couldn't get warm after being in there. Customers want somewhere warm to sit and have a meal.
The meal was utterly atrocious. There were six of us having dinner. Four ordered a steak pie and chips. None of us could put a knife through the pastry. We mentioned this is the nicest of manners. We were then offered slices of bread and butter to compensate. We asked to speak to the manager who kept avoiding us. The establishment seemed to be run by teenagers. Such a shame this was our local and it seems to have deteriorated rapidly. I definitely would not recommend.
Wonderful food and atmosphere, one of our favourite pubs to visit for a Sunday roast.
Nice atmosphere, friendly people and one of the best roasts I’ve ever had in a pub. If we lived closer, we’d definitely be regulars!
Lovely pub in Gweek. Went for Sunday lunch with friends. Service was good with a very good menu. We all chose a roast dinner. The meat was disappointing. Not much of it and a little undercooked. The roast potatoes were undercooked too. Shame as the pub itself was lovely.
