Historic community owned drovers inn. 6 boutique letting bedrooms, great Scottish drinks and both bar food and a la carte restaurant serving local dishes.
We had a lovely 2 night stay at The Black Bull, Gartmore, friendly staff, amazing food, locals were very friendly and welcoming, wee had a good few drinks with them in the bar πΈ π π π
A lovely friendly hotel, the room was spotless, the food was amazing, everyone was very friendly. The pub had as roaring fire going it was so cosy and homely. After our superb breakfast our chef chatted in great depth about the history of Gartmore. Thereβs a room with lots of photos about the history, will definitely be back and would recommend the black bull to family and friends. Willie and June Brown from Fife.
The building has such a great history. Make sure you read about it before or when visiting, because you will look with a different mindset. The rooms where clean and the bed enormous. The carpet was not that clean, because of kind of big spots, but maybe that is fixable. The shower is great. And the food and the people are so kind and friendly!
We had dinner once and the food was surprisingly good! We stayed for 2 nights, we really liked our room and we loooved the breakfast! We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this place but keep in mind that there is not much to do around.
Went for dinner and drinks with friends, having visited the Black Bull a couple of times before. Very accommodating staff, friendly service, and great food. Good selection of drink too. Highly recommend the steak! Will be back again
