The Cross Keys is situated in the heart of the picturesque Pangbourne village which is located on the banks of the river Thames. We have a wide selection of dishes ranging from light bites, pub food favourites, to gourmet main dishes.
A traditional country inn, dating back to the eighteenth century, the pub has recently been refurbished but still retains its historical charm.
In the courtyard behind The Cross Keys you will find a lovely garden area that is perfect for family get togethers. We now have a BBQ Grill Kitchen which enables us to cater from the garden in our gazebo, even if it rains.
So whatever your reason for visiting The Cross Keys, whether it's just for a quick drink or a sit down meal, you will receive a very warm welcome from the moment that you walk through the door.
We hope to see you soon.

Went for a pint and possibly lunch, but were put off from staying longer by the unpleasant smell of stale cooking oil that lingers everywhere and is strongest by the bar. If you visit - you and everyone you’ve ever known and loved will likely end up smelling the same.
Haven't been here for a long time and not disappointed. 12 of us had great Christmas meal and drinks. Service and atmosphere perfect. Just as I remember from long time ago.
Great pub. Didn't go for food so cannot comment on it but a really decent pub. Warm, cosy atmosphere and some nice beers. Great staff and great atmosphere
This is a lovely traditional pub with lots of wood beaming and features. This pub is not very accessible as there are lots of different floor levels hence lots of steps down and up. The food is very well cooked and customer service was great. Although this pub does not have a lot of it's own carparking, there a is a car park across the road
Very disturbing visit to what was once a superb pub. The outside looks run down (first warning sign), and as you enter there is a horrible mouldy smell that hangs around the bar. The outside used to be lovely but bizarrely the river view has been blocked up so you can't enjoy the views of the water. This is a dying pub with no effort to clean-up / freshen-up. Really (really) disappointed to see this pub in its current state. Not a good sign for Pangbourne.
