We also cater for events and parties – whether they be on the decking looking out over the outstanding view or alongside one of our three open fires in the barn!

Fantastic location for a country stroll before or after a visit to the Elm Tree. You will mot be disappointed. Book well in advance for a weekend treat 😋 There was a warm welcome on arrival and a good selection of 🍸 🍷 🍺 to choose from. Table service was prompt personable and informative. As it was Sunday, I went for the roast chicken. Wow ,they don't skimp on the portion sze . The chicken skin had a little crisp to it and well cooked and rested. Flavoursome, yes. Fab 👌 roasted spuds and all veg cooked to perfection. All brought together with a decent gravey. Sticky toffee pudding to finish 😋 plate picked clean 😋 👌 All in all a good do was had by all. Tip ....if busy parking on site is limited, alternative parking is on the muddy verge . Thanks to the front of house staff for still smiling after entertaining over 130 covers and Ade and the kitchen staff for a very pleasant Sunday afternoon lunch 😀 and a lovely memory. 😍 I am looking forward to our next visit 😀 .
Have been and had the burger a few times, absolutely delicious and such generous amounts. The salad on the side is lovely!! I’ve also tried the aubergine veggie dish which is another great meal. Next for the chicken Kiev!!
Highly recommended for vegans! Great vegan options, caters well for vegans and non-vegans! We had vegan nut roasts and came with lots of trimmings. We also had vegan sticky toffee pudding which was lovely! Staff were really accommodating and kept us well supplied with extra gravy etc. Portions were massive and fairly priced! Some good local and London beers.
Lovely place with great service. The staff are incredible attentive, even with a huge group in tonight. They regularly check in, and food was really speedy but great quality too
Excellent food well presented. This pub had a friendly atmosphere and service. Two ales on draught.
