I do hesitate to mention how tasty the fish and chips are on Friday and what good value they are, really wouldn’t want the place to be overrun. If you insist on going, do make sure to ring and book first.
Local pub for local people? Tried to go to buy pub lunch was turned away, one table of other people were sat dining. Farcical in the extreme. Don't turn up on the off chance. Ignore the website too as allegedly they don't own it.
Friday fish and chips lunch. Excellent we enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely be going again.

Lovely pub, very friendly and helpful staff. Enjoyed the daily special in the restaurant - just £3.95! Today it was gammon, the special changes daily. Substantial portion. The surrounding village has "chocolate box" thatched roofed cottages. Very quaint.
