Beautiful pub in York. Great atmosphere and the best bar staff. We travelled from Scotland and were made to feel very welcome. Highly recommend.
The staff we met were really nice. The room we had was clean but basic. Bed mattress was rock hard and there was music playing loudly until 11.00 in pub below the rooms sadly. Pub doesn't do breakfast so had to go elsewhere..wouldn't stay again
Great place to stay to be near York centre. Rooms immaculately clean. Friendly staff. Car parking on-site for a reasonable cost. Lots of good eating places nearby. Great stay and would recommend.
Really liked this nice local pub, unfortunately not as busy as it deserves to be and the beers a bit pricey. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. We went two nights in a row.
Lovely family run pub and bnb. We were welcomed in and felt as if nothing was too much trouble. We also got in the car park which made things easier for us. My friend and I stayed in a lovely big room with large bathroom with a bath. Full English breakfast was available the next morning and happy to do just scrambled egg for me. Easy to walk into centre of York. Would definitely use again as good value for money.
