Absolutely amazing place. Lovely food and staff are amazing. Let’s not forget small pubs at moment are struggling with cost of living and we don’t know how long pubs can last while all these price rises are happening. The price I paid for a Sunday lamb was very reasonable is this current climate. Ok my second name is Baxter and no this place has nothing to do with me or my family. Many years this place was on my bin round when I worked for Sita Doncaster so recently I thought why not go at look at pub now. Nothing changed to be honest still looks a cosy old country pub. Fantastic place and I will recommend to all. 5 stars plus more from me
Lovely village pub, serving a great selection of real ale, a diverse range of gins and other drinks, plus a decent menu. A single large room, but still has a cosy feel. Close to the railway main line, but more difficult to reach by car, as the village is somewhat isolated. Well worth the detour, however. There are buses, but check details as I don't imagine they are very frequent. At least the pub stays open most of the day.
Quiet country pub. Limited menu as you would expect, but very nice food.
A real cosy traditional pub thats perfectly priced, has a great atmosphere and lovely staff. A must if you're in the area.
