Nice Hotel. In the middle of nowere but close (5min.) to P66 refinery. Breakfast and dinner are absolute good. Rooms and equipement are a bit outdated, especially the carpet is old and not clean. Staff is helpfull and very freindly. The bar is good.
Good location for the purpose of my stay. Hotel room is good with everything you need it. There is an iron and iron board in the corridor to use which is good. Not much else around here if you want to visit other amenities. Went to the restaurant to eat but it was packed so ate at the bar. Was served by Sam Reynolds who was gave excellent customer service. He was very attentive and knowledgeable.
I’ve visited this hotel/ restaurant a few times this year and overall it’s very good. The rooms could do with some improvements (such as not providing the correct amount of beds as promised and on one occasion the fold out camper bed was very uncomfortable). The breakfast was nice with a pleasing buffet selection of drinks , pastries, cereals and fruits and the ordered breakfast was nice and speedy. Outdoor space very pleasant (though probably not in poor weather). Overall very nice and the best option in the area. Also dog friendly for those that need to know
Great hotel, very pleasant staff who make you feel very welcome. Meals are varied well cooked and presented in a nice setting. Bar, with a well stocked, good selection of wines and spirits but limited selection of beers and larger. Nice patio area to sit out in when the weather permits. Very dog friendly. Use it as our local when visiting our daughter.
We had our wedding here and they team were fantastic. All the way up to they day nothing was a problem and throughout our day they were on hand at all times to make sure everything was the way we wanted it. The food is fantastic and there is a good choice of drink at the bar. Our wedding suite was very good and clean, however some of our guests had a few problems with the rooms they had. The breakfast the next morning was also very good. From a distance the back drop is of the industry but when you are in the hotel and the grounds you can't see it and it is so peaceful. The gardens are beautiful.
