About us

A place to meet and make friends before or after Spurs matches at nearby White Hart Lane? A pub in N17 that is dog friendly, to make your own home from home – a venue to come to listen to live music free, for a coffee, watch sports live on tv, to use free WiFi, to start or join a club in, or to hire out for your own event?
Tucked away in the historic and atmospheric Bruce Castle Park area, The Antwerp Arms is Tottenham’s longest established working pub. Serving local people since 1822, our Georgian building with beer garden, faced demolition in 2013 – before over 300 of us came together to own and run it.
Today, we’re keeping the inclusive spirit of the traditional British pub alive. Whoever you are, whatever your interests, why not come down to our family friendly pub and help make The Antwerp Arms your own?.

A pub which charged £5 entry but did not serve drinks on New Years Eve. Was NOT informed of this when we paid £5 entry fee at 11:45pm or would have driven elsewhere went out to source a drink to see in the New Year as staff ignored us at the bar (no explanation) then other customers told us they had announced before we got there that they stopped serving at 11:45 (which is kind of the crucial time when they should be serving). Had to drive to the nearest shop and when we returned from the shop just before midnight friend was embarrassingly asked to leave immediately due to bringing his externally bought drink inside to find the rest of the party but host would not return our entry fee although politely requested. The rest of the party of 5 had come earlier paying £2 entry fee and we bought a couple of rounds before going to collect friend who paid £5 at 11:45. Publicly embarrassed and rather shocked that a pub takes money for entry without informing us that it does not sell alcohol at the one time when the whole country expects to be prepared to raise a glass then complains when willing customers are forced to resort to other means just to see in the New Year and to make it worse did not refund the entry fee either. They have lost a regular customer who would have willingly bought drinks at their bar had they bothered to serve them. Spoiled the New Year. Will not be going there again.

We went to London for the Titans vs. Ravens NFL game. Our charter booked this pub for our tailgate party. What a blast. The staff were the best, very friendly and attentive. Please support this pub.

A friend was exhibiting her art work in this pub. It's a community pub, one of the first of its kind says the board inside. Family orientated, lots of children there having meals. Has something on every night and games. They were setting up for a band when I was there- Sat night. Did not eat but the food looked good. Seems a very popular local pub. Parking was fine but restricted on Spurs match days.

It’s a beautiful place, but it’s overpriced 3 pints of beer 🍻 cost us 18£ people working there are quite nice and quick to provide necessary services, we came across this pub after Beyonce concert and surprisingly the pub was not as busy as other places, it closes quite early around half past 23 on Tuesdays over all good place to socialise.

Very good pub less than 10 minutes walk from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. 9 cask beers on handpump when I last visited including a stout (because they were hosting a beer festival, there are usually 2 or 3). Lots of outdoor seating in the rear garden and in the park opposite. The Antwerp Arms became North London’s first Community Pub in 2015 when it was bought from a developer who was proposing to turn it into flats. Funds were raised through a share offer and a grant from the Social Investment Bank.
