Last night we had a fantastic meal out at Amersham House. Our waiter Alex was attentive and friendly, so we felt nicely looked after. The restaurant was busy for a Monday so had a good vibe. The food was lovely, starters nice and crispy and the mains were delicious! I would be more than happy to return and I am already looking forward to my next visit :) thank you!
A great lunch today I had the Pesto Linguine with chicken and it was superb A good vibe to the premises with excellent service attentive and pleasant Would like to return!
We popped in here for a coffee and an early grey tea after a long walk! Lovely little place, beautifully decorated and maintained. The service was excellent too. Very friendly, welcoming and warm. We had the chocolate and salted caramel tart, it was really lovely! Service was fast. All in all a great place to visit.
Trying to live up to the hype of Côte and existing great restaurants, AH is still going through teething issues, e.g new staff and the right menu. However, the restaurant has all the right foundations to be successful if given a chance. On a Friday evening the staff tried to be attentive and food was palatable and the ambience was pleasant! Hopefully we can support the local business on its new found journey.
We were a bit disappointed by this place and it was mainly the potion sizes that did it. The beef and mushroom pie needed a fair bit of seasoning. Apparently the fish pie was good but again, the portions... way too small. Service was good apart from the owner/manager and the way she speaks to the staff. Toilets; spotless.
