Wanlockhead Inn is Scotland’s highest pub. Located in Scotland’s highest village (surprisingly, we are in Dumfriesshire, not the Highlands). Nestled amongst the Lowther hills in the picturesque village of Wanlockhead, we offer visitors hearty pub grub.

I'm Sue Perkins, the owner of The Railway Inn, and I would like to welcome you. The last train may have passed the Railway Inn back in 1964, but our family business is still going as strong as ever with our three generations at the helm.
