The Fox and Grapes in Wimbledon Village offered a Sunday lunch that was nothing short of exceptional. We indulged in the delectable Pork Welsh Rarebit to kick off the feast, setting the stage for a Sunday culinary adventure. The Roast Pork main course, served with precision, was a hearty and flavorful highlight. The Hazelnut Creme Brulee that followed was a sweet revelation, rounding off our Sunday lunch with a touch of indulgence. The warm ambiance and attentive service made this dining experience at The Fox and Grapes a Sunday well spent.

We only went for a few drinks On a Sunday and the staff were very welcome even though it was so busy. They have a small outdoor area at the front of the pub that gets quite cramped when each sets is taken. They had a lot of large tables for Sunday roast, which looked great but you will definitely have to book! It’s quite easy to get to, as it’s right by the park and there are a lot of dog walkers/ dogs, as it’s a dog friendly pub.

We went in for a drink late afternoon.- not that busy - and my partner just went straight to bar (not a strange thing to do in a pub!) but before I could follow him a woman appeared amd asked me if I'd booked a table giving my partner a funny look. I said we just wanted a drink and she said rather brusquely 'Sit at the bar.' Didn't feel very welcoming. Anyway we just went and sat outside...Bar staff were friendly and on the whole a nice pub but just chill out on the front of house....

Outstanding food, outstanding service, and a brilliant wine list. This is a really top quality pub. The perfect mix of old school charm and offerings (like the beautiful Sunday roast) with plenty that meets contemporary expectations. Really highly recommend it.
